We have partnered with local governments, communities, Universities, and health systems to strengthen the health system. The large population of Pakistan has comprised of young people, Pathfinder believes in empowering youth who play a significant and vital role in the furtherance process of community development. Our work ensures that millions of women, men, and young people can choose their paths.

Pathfinder’s project “Advancing the leadership of women and girls toward better health and climate change resilience” in Pakistan looks to support the development of innovative, contextually relevant climate solutions that are sustainable, scalable, and driven by community needs. Thus, Pathfinder Pakistan is looking to develop incubation hubs, with an intersectional approach, engaging with students in business, humanities, and agriculture.

The project looks to hire a consultant that would build on the conceptual framework for these incubation hubs. The incubation hub should provide a stage for multisectoral dialogue to present selected solutions for gender-responsive climate solutions, specifically. engage with university students to develop solutions that will serve as sustainable means to address the issues on the ground. During this engagement, students will also be exposed to learning opportunities through workshops on the intersections of climate change, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and family planning, with the goal of cocreating solutions.

Conceptual Framework

This intervention would be completed in 5 steps, which will start with ideation where universities will involve and indulge in thought processes on climate threat on MNCH, SRHR, Move forward will work with experts and stakeholders to refine existing modules on Climate Change, to incorporate intersectional analysis into Resource Development, would accelerate this process to set meetings with Universities, Students, and Technology Groups to get buy-in for the concept, furthermore provide learning exchange platforms that will bring together students from diverse backgrounds: entrepreneurs, social policy/gender students and at the last step student will develop the solution in incubation week.
