Main responsibilities:

1. Plans and coordinates the educational project's curriculum; conducts research to determine the program's aims and defines the educational goals, objectives, and procedures.
2. Provides student advisement and support services, coordinates curriculum and serves as a student liaison and advocate with faculty and staff.
3. Establishes formats and strategies to accomplish the educational project's aims; specifies the demands of the target students and helps them succeed.
4. Oversees educational activities, to meet the requirements of the donor and the project’s targets.
5. Monitors the activities and the results achieved against the project indicators, in collaboration with the Project Coordinator, and Project Area Managers.
6. Participates in educational working groups, and meetings with donors and other stakeholders.
7. Create nurturing and safe learning based on high expectations for all students.
8. Effectively manage multiple projects/events and establish priorities with moderate supervision
9. Observe and interview teachers to help them improve their teaching methods
10. Work with students to determine where they are struggling.
11. Any other task that is assigned by organization.
12.  Writes, edits and coordinates development of educational materials, training manuals , newsletters as appropriate to the project/programs.

Skill Set:

2. Knowledge of academic and/or vocational education curriculam
3. Excellent Communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
4. Expert in Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
5. Ability to organize and prioritize workload, using initiative when appropriate.
6. Energetic, enthusiastic, and able to motivate others.
7. Cross-cultural awareness and flexibility
8. University degree (preferably master’s or PhD) from an accredited academic institution in Education, with a specialization in refugee education.
9. Minimum five (5) years of experience in a relevant position.
