Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide. Human Appeal has seven International Field Offices across the globe.

Here at Human Appealwe have an exciting opportunity for the position ofGlobal Communications /Media Officer, to be based at our Islamabad, Pakistanoffice.

Content Management & Visibility:

  • Ensure the appropriate usage of Human Appeal (HA) branding and banners across all projects, including the timely distribution of banners to stakeholders after design completion.
  • Review media materials uploaded to the server, ensuring accurate tagging, translations, and rich captions.
  • Upload media material to the server when needed.

Comms Support:

  • Take meeting minutes following Global Communications team meetings and regional meetings.
  • Prepare global communications presentations for weekly meetings.
  • Update the project and content tracker on a daily basis to maintain accurate records of comms activities.
  • Create accounts for new Mediafly/RS users and provide comprehensive briefings on tool usage.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different departments.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
  • Understanding of branding and visual identity guidelines preferred.



  • Bachelor degree in media studies, journalism, mass communication, development studies, or any other relevant field. Academic degree in a different field with relevant experience in internal and external communication & media engagement and a strong portfolio will also be considered.


  • Prior experience in a similar role or relevant internship experience is desirable

Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management systems.


  • Advanced level of command in English, both written and verbal, is required
