 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Litigation Associate will be responsible for performing the following duties but shall not be limited to:

  • Conducting interviews with clients.
  • Coordinate with clients on a daily basis, and give updates to the clients.
  • Updating the data in CMS.
  • Conducting meetings with LAS Stakeholders.
  • Managing and updating the case files.
  • Diligently proceeding with cases on a daily basis before courts and tribunals.
  • Drafting pleadings, applications, affidavits, written statements, petitions, and documents related to ligation.
  • Conducting research on existing gaps in the implementation of laws, legislations, and policies within the Criminal Justice System

REQUIREMENTS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Must be enrolled with the Bar Council.
  • Minimum of two years of post-qualification litigation experience.
  • Strong research and drafting skills.
  • Adequate knowledge and experience in litigating cases related to family laws.
  • Commitment to social justice and advocacy for marginalized communities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
