ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The successful candidate has to work and collaborate in the development of a comprehensive digital infrastructure within the agriculture domain, encompassing activities ranging from laboratory experiments to field cultivation and harvesting in line with goals of Project Green AI.
- He/She will also engage in diverse research tasks, including data collection/acquisition for machine learning and software development related to Project Green AI.
- He/She will also collaborate closely with his/her superior on research activities related to Project GreenAI which pertains to Auto Steer System, Green Cabins, Smart Irrigation and Sensors.
- He/She will engage in the preparation of scholarly papers, report writing and conducting field visits within the ambit of Project GreenAI.
- He/She is expected to demonstrate a high level of motivation, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills and ability to effectively engage with students and colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- MS (Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science) from HEC recognized university.
- Publications in relevant peer-reviewed scientific journals are an asset.
- PhD scholar will be preferred.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience in one or more of the following disciplines (Programming, Software development, Python, R, Node.js, PHP, AI/ML, Data Analytics, Tensorflow, Pytorch, Auto Guidance system, GIS/GPS).
- Strong research background with experience in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and project development will be preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Preferably be able to effectively communicate, both oral and written formats, in English.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
- 01 year of relevant professional experience in Artificial intelligence/image acquisition /software development/Machine Learning/ Data Analytics will be preferred.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- This position is one-year term with possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance or need basis.

- The hired candidate will undergo a 2‐3 months training period during which the candidate will be on probation. The final appointment will be confirmed after completion of the training period.
