Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a seasoned and Dynamic Field Research Support Officer for Chitral Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing logistics for data and samples collection on the field
  • Working with management team and field team to ensure research activities are conducted as per study protocol
  • Ensuring that research protocols are rigorously followed on the field
  • Working collaboratively with vendors for aligning field transportation of staff and samples.
  • Supporting the Counsellors and Data Officers in whatever task necessary for the successful execution of the study
  • Conducting preliminary sample quality and validation checks on all data collected in the field.
  • Ensuring the timely collection and transportation to lab of samples that are received from the field.
  • Supporting the project team with any other tasks that might be assigned.
  • Supporting the administrative and financial reporting requirements of the project

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, logistics or any other relevant disciplines.
  • 1 years of experience in the relevant field with a reputed organization, experience in Health related research studies would be preferred.
  • Acquaintance with basic operational methodologies of research studies.
  • Acquaintance with general record keeping and filing systems.
  • Ability to compare data from a variety of sources for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to follow, applies, interpret, and explain instructions and/or guidelines.
  • Ability to determine work priorities.
  • Having good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
