Job Description:

The Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data into electronic systems and databases. The role supports data quality assurance, data management, and reporting efforts in line with organizational standards and timelines.

Main Responsibilities:

• Enter timely and error-free data from source scanned documents into prescribed formats (databases, spreadsheets, etc.).
• Verify the accuracy of data before entering it into systems.
• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
• Review and clean data to correct errors and maintain consistency.
• Organize and maintain files and records, both electronic and paper-based.
• Generate simple reports as needed (e.g., data summaries, counts).
• Coordinate with field teams or departments to collect missing or incomplete data.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Follow organizational data protection policies and procedures.
• Assist in the digitization and archiving of physical records.

Job Requirements:

• Master preferably in Computer Science or IT
• At least 3 years of work experience in social/development sector
• Excellent typing and analytical skills
• Any other task assigned by the supervisor
