Qualification Requirements

  • MBA/BBA with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • BS in IT (or equivalent) with 2-3 years of experience in similar work. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications (oral and written) skills
  • Resident of Islamabad/Rawalpindi

Job description

The IT Officer will be responsible for providing advice and support in the various IT functions and will play an active role in the day-to-day support at the Head Office Islamabad and at various project locations on need basis.

  • Oversees the administration and maintenance of the AiD’s IT infrastructure.
  • Trouble shoot and resolve hardware, connection, printer and Software issues.
  • Conduct IT related training for staff to enhance company productivity.
  • Leading all IT related procurement.
  • Ensure technical support to telephone and mail requests from users for all PC hardware, software and associated peripherals.
  • Ensure that all AiD software and computers are kept up-to-date
  • Install and configure operating systems and software’s to agreed standards
  • Develop and efficiently maintain an accurate inventory of all IT equipment 
  • such as printers, laptops, telephone exchange, scanners, Wi-Fi devices, CCTV  camerasetc
  • Monthly reconciliation of all IT inventories
  • Repair & maintenance of all IT equipment such as printers, laptops, telephone
  • exchange, scanners, Wi-Fi devices, multimedia projector, UPS and UPS batteries, CCTV cameras etc.
  • Monthly back up of account server to avoid accidents/mishap
  • To maintain, trouble shoot and regularly update CV data base and AiD website
  • Uploading job vacancies, advertisements and TORs on need basis 
  • Diagnose hardware, software and other IT related problems
  • Ensuring that all data are backed up from all project staff and consultants
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations and storage of data on remote location on monthly basis.
  • Assist HR in processing and compilation of CVs in response to applications
  • Providing technical/IT support for business development including assistance with emerging technical/financial submissions to various clients
  • Ensuring that all company and projects IT assets are maintained responsibly.
  • Assist he Engg/Social sectors/Environment as well as the finance/HR/Admin team with needed IT support for day to day operations.
  • Perform any other tasks as required by AiD management.
