 Program Overview

The Land Registration in Merged Areas (LRMA) activity  is a United States Agency for International Development, (USAID) funded project that will support the establishment of a land registration system in the seven districts of the Merged Areas. The activity will improve the accessibility of land records; effectuate land transactions; allow the use of land as collateral and complement the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s efforts under the Settlement and Land Record activity.

Overview of the Position:

LRMA seeks applications to fill in positions of computer operators to be based in Service Delivery Centers (SDC) to be established in its geographical areas, who fulfill the following criteria.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities of Computer Operator will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Issuance of tokens to clients visiting SDC for various service;
  • Generation of vouchers (challan) for depositing government fee, duty or tax;
  • Data entry, up-dation, validation and correction of land records in the LRMIS for various land administration services;
  • Issuance of fards for various services;
  • Performance of different business processes for services/transactions in LRMIS software;
  • Performance of quality assurance and data validation of digital records entered LRMIS software and database;
  • Generating different reports as requested by Dy Director SDC from LRMIS software; and
  • Any other function assigned by Dy Director SDC. 

 Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors degree with a One year Diploma in Microsoft and Urdu typing applications preference will be given to candidates having Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences.
  •  Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute using English and Urdu applications.
  • Three years’ experience in urdu typing.
  • Handling and maintenance of computer and allied equipment.
  • Candidates having working experience of Land Records Management Information System (LRMIS) software will be given preference.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Mergred Areas candidates will be preferred.
  • Any other task assign by supervisor.
