Key Responsibilities  

• Ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of Hydro Power Projects, Irrigation Channels and LRM related infrastructure projects.
• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, construction, operations).
• Update Quality Management System (MIS) with incidents, fixes and improvements
• Determine quality metrics for all the interventions
• Monitor the entire implementation cycle and Conduct field visits and report on quality issues, defects, or deviations for course correction.
• Review bills of quantities and quality documentation
• Set and track quality assurance goals.
• Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure cordial working relations
• Work with internal teams to increase donor’s satisfaction by improving the quality of the projects.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Ensure compliance of infrastructure component with engineering standards, approved designs and costs.
• Develop and maintain quality records and documentation.

Qualification required:

• Bachler’s/Master's degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from HEC recognized university.
• Professional certification or ability to obtain.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in hydropower planning and development, irrigation and LRM related projects.
• Expertise in hydropower, irrigation and LRM related system design, construction, and operation.
• Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Familiarity with environmental and social impact assessments.
• Knowledge of international hydropower standards and best practices
