Job Description:

Organizational Context and Scope:

Under the overall supervision of the Head of Resources Management and direct supervision of the Senior Liaison Coordinator – Humanitarian Resilience and Recovery Division (HRRD) in Quetta  and in collaboration with relevant units, the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the following functions in IOM Quetta  Office.

Responsibilites and Accountabilities:

  • Ensure that the office premises are kept clean and in an orderly condition, this includes but is not limited to cleaning all office rooms, balconies, lavatories, corridors, stairs, backyards, gardens, kitchen, walkways, surrounding areas of the office.
  • Responsibility of keeping office equipment, appliances, and other assets in store.
  • Review and report any problems to supervisor related to functioning of office space including the kitchen and lavatories.
  • Move trash off the premises and place it in the designated garbage containers.
  • Ensure that there is sufficient stock and availability of all basic office supplies (including but not limited to toilet paper, soaps, hand towels, etc.). Report shortage to supervisor as needed.
  • Wash cups, plates, utensils, and other dishes as needed.
  • Monitor and replenish water drums of the water coolers as needed.
  • Prepare tea / coffee and biscuits for staff and guests as needed.
  • As needed, support relevant units in loading, offloading, carrying, and transporting items and assets for official purpose.
  • Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.  

Education :

  • Minimum requirement of High school / degree / certificate
  • Intermediate degree / certificate is an advantage 

Experience :

  • One year of prior experience in similar role is an advantage

Skills :

  • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a team of colleagues of varied cultural and professional backgrounds.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

 Languages :

Required :

  • Fluency in Urdu and Pashto are required.
Desirable :

Working knowledge of English is an advantage
