Duties and Responsibilities
-
To work as focal person for the project and lead interventions in target district(s)
-
To ensure project planning, execution, and timely management all targets, deliverables and set goals,
-
Provide overall orientation and vision of project to all team members and partners
-
Responsible for liaoning in the targeted districts with government and other stakeholders,
-
Identify Youth, community leaders, local partners and assist them to provide support in project activities,
-
To engage local Community Based Organizations (CBOs) & NGOs for quality input and ensure outreach and scope of work.
-
Responsible to verify all the field work, documentation and data collected and/or reported.
-
Responsible for project related financial management and effective utilization of given resources
-
Enable and engage youth in entrepreneurship and self-employment for sustainable livelihood
-
Assist program and M&E sections for any field level support, as and when required,
-
To do budget tracking during the implementation of project
-
To comply with the organizational policies and procedures and code of conduct
-
Any other task assigned by the supervisor
Experience and Education:
-
At least 07 years’ project management experience in the non-government sector, ideally in youth empowerment, promote social harmony and Rule of Law projects/assignments.
-
Master’s degree in Social Sciences or equivalent relevant qualification
Skills & Competencies:
-
Conceptual understanding of Social Cohesion, Enterprise/ TVET Skills Development.
-
Knowledge and experience of advocacy campaigns on youth empowerment, promotion of social harmony and Rule of Law issues
-
Proficiency in English language, both in writing and verbal communication
-
Strong report writing skills
-
Substantial knowledge regarding the program implementation on field level
-
Strong organizational and leadership skills
-
Excellent communication and representative skills (written, oral, cross-cultural)
-
Positive attitude and ability to multitask and deal with stressful situations.
-
Ability to adapt within the working environment.
-
Ability to work as part of a team.
-
Adheres to strong ethical professional values
