Relevant Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in research, project design, proposal writing and reports writing in the field of rule of law, democratic just governance, GBV, peacebuilding, and civic education.

 

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive mapping of donors to align with organizational strategy, identifying potential funding sources and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Management team to identify and pursue new opportunities, including conducting research on events, publications, and announcements to track and screen potential interventions, as well as identifying trends that may lead to partnership opportunities.
  • Coordinate and contribute to the identification, design, formulation, and negotiation of new projects and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate technical and financial requirements, playing a key role in developing concept notes and proposals for new projects and programs.
  • Develop and update plans and calendars for project development, engaging with multiple staff members for proposal development and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Guide on data collection, management, and verification, ensuring accurate and efficient processes are in place and results are effectively communicated based on both quantitative and qualitative inputs.
  • Develop an efficient data collection and analysis system, including processes for collecting and analyzing data and ensuring data quality.
  • Monitor program implementation processes for quick learning and adaptation, ensuring that program activities are aligned with goals and objectives.
  • Design and coordinate implementation of learning workshops, trainings, and other activities for staff and partners to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Assist with program audits, verifications, and other pre- and post-assessments, ensuring that required documentation is available promptly and effectively.

Qualification:

  • University level degree preferably Masters/M.Phil.  in Social Sciences or in a relevant discipline.

Technical Competencies:

  • Understand the implementation approaches of grants writing and will be able to design implementation of special surveys and studies and help develop other indicators tools as required.
  • Knowledge of development theories, concepts, legislative development in country
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • Excellent technical writing & Research skills.
  • Pro-active in communication & information sharing.

Language:

  • Excellent command of English & Urdu – verbal and written
