Normeca International AS Is Seeking A Skilled And Detail-Oriented Laboratory Technician To Join Our Team. This Role Is Essential In Our Mission To Provide Quality Medical Care To The Rural Areas Of Pakistan. The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For Conducting Laboratory Tests And Procedures To Assist In The Diagnosis And Treatment Of Patients.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform Routine And Specialized Laboratory Tests In Areas Such As Hematology, Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry, And Urinalysis.

Prepare And Analyse Samples, Ensuring Accuracy And Precision In Results.

Maintain And Calibrate Laboratory Equipment To Ensure Proper Functioning.

Record And Report Test Results In A Timely And Accurate Manner.

Follow Established Laboratory Protocols And Safety Guidelines To Prevent Contamination And Ensure The Safety Of Patients And Staff.

Assist In Managing Laboratory Supplies And Inventory.

Collaborate With Healthcare Professionals To Interpret And Discuss Test Results.

Maintain Accurate And Detailed Laboratory Records.

Stay Updated With Advancements In Laboratory Techniques And Best Practices.

Assist In Setting Up And Dismantling Mobile Medical Units At Various Locations.
Qualifications:
-
Degree In Medical Laboratory Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

Valid Certification As A Laboratory Technician.

Proven Experience As A Laboratory Technician.

Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures, Equipment, And Safety Protocols.

Excellent Attention To Detail And Organizational Skills.

Good Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
-
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Healthcare Team.

Willingness To Work In Non-Standard Conditions In Rural Areas.

Proficiency In English Is An Advantage.
