This is a local WASH focused organization, working in Pakistan since 2001. NGO’ organizational strategy focuses on “Integrated solution” to improve lives of people, through improving WASH facilities, heath/nutrition status and reducing inequalities through the provision of safe drinking water, improved sanitation and hygiene.

This NGO is one of the pioneer organizations that initiated community led total sanitation (CLTS) in Pakistan and certified hundreds of villages as open defecation free (ODF) through its interventions. Besides WASH, the organization has also concluded multiple projects on improving public health and nutrition of mothers and children, these included “Primary Health care” “Food fortification” and “mother & child health. NGO worked with range of stakeholders during execution of multiple WASH/ Public health projects, main stakeholders engaged were schoolteachers, school children, Lady Health Workers, communities, local organizations, relevant line departments and district and provincial administration etc. and produced target group specific.

NGO has also completed several WASH infrastructures projects, throughout KP province, including installation and construction of water supply schemes, sewerage, and solid waste management systems. It focuses on poverty reduction through improved WASH services at community level contributing to climate resilient and healthy communities in Pakistan. NGO is advocating at provincial and national level to influence policy makers to devise policies and amend action plans for improved WASH services. NGO’s experience in WASH/ public health sector and in the province equipped with skills to execute project successfully. NGO will incorporate the learnings from other relevant projects implemented in past for the successful implantation and completion of this project. The project’s initiation will therefore see no hurdles, and its implementation is expected to be smooth with completion within the allocated time.
