Job Description:
The Sr. M&E Consultant will be responsible for the following activities:
- Conduct field visits and collect primary data
- Analyze primary and secondary data, and generate briefs, reports and info graphics as needed
- Provide support in reporting of MEL indicators’ data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Provide support in preparation of reports for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual updates for Pakinfo/devResults/PPMR etc.
- Produce supply chain commodity security briefs for government stakeholders
- Provide support in preparation and presentation of policy and strategic briefs based on regular analysis of data to government and other relevant stakeholders.
- Provide support in conducting training of project staff on relevant data reporting
- Conduct training to relevant government staff for strengthening M&E capacity
- Provide support to produce research papers on supply chain MEL related topics
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
B. Deliverables:
- Weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
- Commodity Security analysis and briefs
- Joint Field Monitoring visits and reports
- Research publications
C. Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Social Sciences, Economics, or closely related fields.
- Minimum of eight (08) years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, social science research; experience of working in a health-related project and USAID experience preferred.
- Experience in writing M&E reports, inclusive of advanced analysis and data presentation preferred.
- Ability to work on SPSS, Excel, STATA, or related software will be an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, versatility, and integrity.
- Fluency in English required.
D. Period of Performance and LOE
The expected duration of the assignment is six (06) months with a total LOE (Level of Effort) of 120 days. This is distributed as maximum of 20 working days per month.
E. Supervision
The consultant will report to the Country Director.
