Job Description                                         

Division: Programme

1.      Main Tasks

  • Responsible for managing the programme/projects progress Matrices/ tracking sheets. 
  • Provide inputs and assistance in developing of M&E plan, M&E work plan and ensuring plan implementation.
  • Development of suitable tools for data collection and its storage.
  • Ensuring quality of programme interventions and provide recommendations to programme team for course correction and improvement.
  • Regularly participate in programme/project progress meetings and ensure progress is aligned with agreed milestones.
  • Maintaining record of key decisions agreed in progress review meetings and ensure follow up for implementation with implementing partners.
  • Ensuring accuracy in projects report, and data.
  • Facilitate baseline, midterms review and end line studies.
  • Documenting lesson learnt, human interest stories and sharing with relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead in design and writing of knowledge management products.
  • Contribute in communication products highlighting key programme achievements.
  • Coordinate with implementing partners to share reports and information collected from the field.
  • Regular meetings with programme staff to share findings from the field monitoring visits.
  • To monitor and asses partners accountability mechanism towards benificaries
  • Increase awareness of partner staff on accountability mechanisms through formal and informal support.
  • Provide technical inputs in ToRs for external evaluation and mid term reviews of the projects Finance Support
  • Work closely with finance department and provide support to in ensuring effective oversight on budget utilization and checking of expenses reported by the implementing partners.
  • Provide support to the management, programme and finance team as and when required in the context of overall effective and efficient project management

2.      Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social/health sciences, or other relevant field.
  • Min. of 5 years in a M&E Officer position preferably in an International NGO.
  • In depth knowledge and experience of  M&E practices and processes Independent, agile and flexible working style
  • Flexible to travel
  • Good knowledge of English
