Job Description:

Community Accelerator is a program to help leaders harness the power of their community to turn impactful ideas into action. Apply to get the training, mentorship and funds to extend your community’s positive impact.

1. Training & Coaching : Learn how to organize and strengthen your community through custom training, one-on-one coaching and meaningful partnerships.

2. Access to new products : Get early access to new products aimed at helping you manage and activate your community.

3. Funding : Facebook will work with GlobalGiving to offer you up to $50k USD to help fund your community’s initiatives, with a subset of communities eligible to receive part of $1 million USD in additional funding.

What will particpants learn:

1. Community Identity Foundation: Participants will develop and/or refine their community’s mission, member and stakeholder engagement strategy, Theory of Change, and more.

2. Leading Action Oriented Communities: Participants will learn skills to lead effective teams, engage members in projects that further community goals, manage volunteers, and more.

3. Sustainability : Participants will learn best practices for community income generation and options for organizational structures that help maximize community impact.
