The Association for Gender Awareness & Human Empowerment (AGAHE) is a national level NGO working in Punjab province of Pakistan since 2007. AGAHE has been working to support the most vulnerable and marginalized communities through development and humanitarian projects with a vision ‘To create an enabling environment for vulnerable segments of society where they can utilize their full potential for improvement in their lives and have equal opportunities to safeguard their rights’. Food Security & Sustainable Livelihoods, Water Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), Health & Nutrition, Sustainable Agriculture, Climate change, Governance and Disaster Risk Reduction & Resilience are AGAHE’s core thematic areas.

AGAHE with the technical and financial support of the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is implementing a project titled “Scaling up of Biofortified Zinc Wheat in Punjab” in districts Khanewal, Multan and Bahawalpur. One of the important activities of the project is the “Capacity Building of potential women entrepreneurs (value added products of biofortified zinc wheat such as whole wheat snacks/bars or any other indigenous products”.   The purpose of Capacity Building of potential women entrepreneurs is to conduct trainings of these women entrepreneurs on alternate work modalities especially value-added products of biofortified zinc wheat (BZW)/ flour such as whole wheat snacks, bars, cereals etc. These entrepreneurs will be responsible to produce homebased products made of BZW and commercialize it in markets and digital marketplace.

Relevant Experience:

• A professional diploma holder in cooking & baking.  
• At least 5-6 years of capacity building & training experience.
• Must have experience on product packaging, branding & marketing.
• Experience of conducting trainings especially on women entrepreneurship is preferred.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Must have kitchen or suitable professional place for practical demonstration during training.
