PJN is looking for a highly qualified and experienced Program Coordinator to serve as the sole representative of PJN in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, focusing on our mission to rule of law and justice for all, address critical issues, engage with government policies, stakeholder management and provide program development and management support.

Responsibilities/Position ToRs:

As the Provincial Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for PJN NGO in KP Province, representing the organization at relevant meetings, conferences, and engagements.
  • Lead and oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs in accordance with PJN's mission and goals.
  • Utilize your expertise and in-depth knowledge of the newly merged districts in KP Province to inform program strategies and activities.
  • Ensure that PJN's programs are designed to address the unique challenges and opportunities in these areas.
  • Engage with relevant government authorities to advocate for policy changes and collaborate on program implementation.
  • Ensure that all program activities comply with local and national regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement capacity-building programs for community stakeholders, and government officials aimed at strengthening their skills and knowledge in line with PJN's mission.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on program activities, outcomes, and impact for donors, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain meticulous records of program activities and expenditures.
  • Coordinate with all the district teams for timely implementation of activites and reporting. 
  • Regularly visit districts for effective program monitoring and results. 
  • Build close coordination with PJN's network member and partner organizations in KP. 
  • Manage PJN's Provincial Access to Justice Forum in KP, organize its quarterly meetings and conduct policy advocacy around it.
  • Any other responsibility/task assigned by the management. 

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Law, Policy, Development Studies, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in program management and coordination roles, particularly in KP Province.
  • Extensive experience working in the newly merged districts in KP Province.
  • A solid understanding of government policies, regulations, and development priorities in KP Province.
  • Expertise in legal and policy matters related to PJN's focus areas.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering capacity-building initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Urdu & and Pashto.
  • Willingness to travel within KP Province and newly merged districts as needed.
