Job Title: Delivery Associate

Overview:

The Delivery Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of projects by coordinating various operational aspects, facilitating communication between different departments, and supporting the Project Manager in achieving project goals. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Implementation:

  • Identify programmatic deliverables on a quarterly basis and assess resource requirements in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Assist the Project Manager in identifying delivery inputs for project activities and coordinate with relevant departments (Admin/M&E/PDU etc.) for processing.
  • Liaise with or lead field teams to provide immediate feedback and input to enhance project implementation.
  • Support the Project Manager in identifying red flags concerning the delivery of programmatic deliverables.
  • Maintain routine coordination with project field teams to ensure consistency in work plans and deliverables uptake.
  • Coordinate with the Project Coordinator to provide additional support on project deliverables related to field engagements.
  • Actively lead the coordination and execution of programmatic events, establishing communication channels with project stakeholders.

Monitoring, Learning, and Data Management:

  • Ensure project-specific monitoring tools are updated, stored, and utilized in line with M&E standards during project activities.
  • Routinely update the monitoring and evaluation calendar for the respective project and keep M&E timely apprised of project activities.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data collected throughout project activities and update the Project Manager on any inconsistencies.
  • Regularly conduct field visits to monitor program activities, reporting back to the Project Manager on lessons learned and delivery red flags.

Communications & Outreach:

  • Lead the development and execution of the project-specific communications strategy in collaboration with the Communications Department.
  • Develop the project's dissemination strategy while maintaining a stakeholder list for the same.
  • Ensure effective coverage of project activities and events, leading the dissemination on social media.

Strategic Support & Stakeholder Management:

  • Support the Project Manager in liaising with project stakeholders and establishing relationships with relevant focal persons, including supporting advocacy campaigns.
  • Maintain regular contact and coordination with project stakeholders alongside the Project Manager.
  • Assist the Project Manager in maintaining the project's stakeholder analysis document.
  • Support the Project Manager in designing donor reports and relevant documents for stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Development, Project Management, Communications).
  • 1 year of experience in project coordination or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and evaluation principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communications strategies is a plus.
