The Peace & Justice Network (PJN) Pakistan is one of the largest and fast growing national not for profit grassroots justice network registered under Section 42 SECP working across Pakistan for enhancing community legal empowerment and access to justice and strengthening rule of law to foster peace and sustainable development. PJN is looking for a highly qualified and experienced Program Manager at National Secretariat Office for program management and development under CEO and Board of Directors. 

Responsibilities/Position ToRs:

As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive program strategies aligned with PJN’s mission and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify program priorities and opportunities for expansion.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring prudent allocation of resources to maximize impact.
  • Proactively seek and secure funding opportunities, and grants to sustain and enhance program activities.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing program team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff, ensuring their professional growth and the successful execution of program objectives.
  • Establish and maintain a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to systematically track program progress, outcomes, and impact.
  • Regularly assess program performance using data-driven insights and recommend adjustments and improvements.
  • Foster strategic partnerships and collaborations with government bodies, other NGOs, international organizations, and local community stakeholders to enhance program efficacy.
  • Develop and implement effective advocacy strategies to raise awareness about critical issues and influence policy changes.
  • Represent PJN at relevant forums, conferences, and donor meetings.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports to donors, stakeholders, and the Board of Directors, demonstrating program achievements and accountability.
  • Maintain meticulous records of program activities, expenditures, and outcomes.
  • Ensure all program activities adhere to local and international regulations, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Identify potential program-related risks and challenges, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Formulate contingency plans to address unforeseen issues and maintain program continuity.
  • Enhance the visibility and reputation of PJN through effective communication channels, including but not limited to social media, press releases, and newsletters.

Position will grow with expansion in institutional programs and according to new opportunities involvement.  

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Social Sciences, Development Studies).
  • A proven track record of at least 8 years in program management and leadership roles.
  • A deep understanding of the social and development sector in Pakistan.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Urdu.
  • Willingness to travel as required for program-related activities.
