JOB DESCRIPTION
1. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Program planning and Implementation
- Development of implementation plan, result frameworks, and Performance Management Plans as applicable for different grants.
- Following up with the partners on work plan, target set in Result Frameworks, reporting and other deadlines.
- Follow up on internal planning, budgeting, reporting and other processes deadline lines.
- Setting up of the schedule/plan for internal processes, reviews, workshops events etc.
- Results Framework in Programme Information Management System (PIMS).
Budgeting and financial monitoring
- Develop budget for the new grants, concept notes, events, reviews etc.
- Working on budget realignment/adjustments with the partners.
- Setting up a budget utilization plan against the work plan, and result framework.
- Tracking budget utilization, and analysing BVA to report/inform on key issues/risks.
- Following up the partners on budget utilization, burn rates, financial reports.
- Developing and processing implementing partners funds transfer request use organisations financial system.
- Following-up with the partners on planning utilization of the exchange gains, and management of exchange losses.
Reporting and documentation
- Organizing internal, partners reporting calendars/schedules.
- Review and quality assurance of partners' periodic reports and provide them feedback.
- Supporting/contributing to donor/external reporting.
- Logging reports in digital and hard copy form as per guidelines/requirements.
- Preparing documentation for audits, and evaluation reviews.
- Keeping digital and hard records of important internal and external communication, contracts, emails, etc.
Monitoring and Partner Management
- Undertaking performance and process monitoring, reflective sessions, and scheduled reviews occasionally.
- Document best practices, results, case studies, lessons learned from different projects.
- Undertaking quality assurance spot checks, and data quality reviews of the partners programme documentation.
- Supporting organization of baselines, evaluations and studies.
Fundraising Coordination
- Supporting/leading the development of new concept notes.
- Supporting the development of new proposals/applications to be submitted to the donors.
- Mapping donors for new funding opportunities and attending donors’ events.
- Participating in events by different forums, partners, and stakeholders.
- Supporting organization of events etc.
2. Qualifications and experience:-
- Master's degree preferably in development studies or relevant
- Minimum seven years experience, the implementation of Peacebuilding projects will be an added value
- Experience of working with international agencies and/or NGO an advantage
- Good understanding of local context, culture, vulnerable groups, and underlying socio-politico-economic situation and working with senior leaders and communities of diverse faiths
- Experience of developing program strategy and strong proposals and reports writing skills
- Good understanding and experience in the positive use of social media and digitalization tools
- Ability to work with minimal supervision to define work priorities
- Proficiency in written and spoken English with good knowledge of Urdu and other local languages
- A good team player, and learn and use online financial and budget management systems.
