OPM is hiring COP for USAID Climate resilient water governance activity, the following skillset are required in the team leader

The Team Leader will be responsible for: 

• Leading the strategic direction of the programme, by drawing upon and coordinating input from technical leads and partners
• Pro-active, responsive and productive leadership of all team members
• Coordinating the effective delivery of the programme
• Advising the team and partners on water governance issues and policy recommendations
• Acting as the focal point for team’s relationship with USAID 
• Engaging with federal and provincial governments on water governance issues 
• Overall responsibility for developing the annual work plan, risk matrix and budget 
• Implementation and supervision of project quality control systems 

The Team Leader will need to demonstrate experience and knowledge of: 

• Extensive professional experience in climate adaptation, water governance, policy reform, capacity building and international development projects, 
• Have a minimum 5 years as a Team Leader / Chief of Party 
• Experience in delivering USAID projects is an advantage
• Pakistan experience, ideally in engaging with federal and provincial level governments, on water policy
• Experience in applying IWRM, and ideally nature-based solutions, to address social and environmental sustainability 

The Team Leader must have a Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline in water/environment/development. A Master degree or PhD would be an advantage
