Position Objectives:

To Provide  Support to ongoing Recovery Programme as DRR

To Provide technical Support in Integration of Recovery Plans

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities:

To Support field teams in Implementation of  DRR related activities (areas targeted for Recovery Operation)

To take lead in the conduct of baselines, VCAs, Community Plans etc.

Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for Recovery Programme

Risk Assessment and Analysis: Conduct risk assessments and analysis to identify hazards, vulnerabilities, and risks in disaster-prone areas. Use this information to develop appropriate interventions and strategies

Assist Program Manager in developing strategies to ensure  community engagement and participation in DRR activities, fostering a sense of ownership and resilience among the target population

Monitoring Visits toensure execution of the activities as per plan for smooth implementation

Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports and submission of the same to Program Manager DM for final rectification, for onward submission to the PMER Manager and donors.

Support Program Manager DM in finalization of soft activities (IEC material, Campaigns etc) to be implemented in the field

In case of disaster, provide support during emergencies and disasters, including the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.

To assist Program Manager DM in development of new project proposals

Coordination with Movement partners for reporting and evaluations

Any duty assigned by the management.

 Education

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences/ Project Management or relevant filed from recognized Institution.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience of disaster risk reduction programs and emergency operations.
• Field experience in coordinating Recovery & DRR projects and activities.
• Experience in project cycle management including proposal development, budgeting and reporting, monitoring and evaluation
• Knowledge about development of situational IEC material & tools

Skills / Knowledge

• Very Good skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Very Good Communication Skills.
• Very Good Report Writing Skills.
• Experience in capacity building and trainings of health service providers.
• Sound knowledge of software.
• Very Good team player (service oriented), able to work in stressful situation.
• Flexibility to adapt to fast changing circumstances.
• Team Management Skills

Maximum Age: Maximum 40 years

Traveling:-  60% travelling within targeted districts of Pakistan
