General mission

The Meal and Reporting Officer has an Advanced university degree in social science, Communication, Public Relations (Master’s level or equivalent) or related fields from a recognized university or academic institute and at least 5 to 6 years of experience in the field of Reporting and MEAL with INGOs and the development sector.

Missions / Responsabilités

Mission 1: Ensure appropriâtes Quality and Accountability

  • Plan & undertake regular site visits, surveys, rapid assessments, and overall monitoring of projects implementing areas in KP
  • Conduct FGDs, Key informants interviews, and employ other qualitative data collection tools and methods to assess and report on project activities, outputs, and outcomes. Analyze and interpret quantitative data received through surveys.
  •  Identification and documentation of success stories, lessons learned, and case studies.
  • Conduct interviews with project participants to obtain feedback on the quality of project activities and recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and compile evidence-based monitoring and evaluation reports on the project activities in collaboration with other teams.
  • Ensure that appropriate quality and accountability control efforts are in place by following different Standards including CHS, as program data is collected, assessed, and reported; with appropriate data collection tools and approaches in place.
  • MEAL officer will properly investigate the received complaints and provide feedback to all the complainants in a timely manner.
  • Conduct pre-post verification and Post distribution monitoring.
  • Further duties as assigned by the head of the unit and supervisor.

Mission 2: Reporting and Documentation

  • Analyze and synthesize data
  • Produce weekly & monthly Situation Reports, quarterly indicator reports, annual reports, and other narrative reports as assigned by the relevant departments.
  • Create infographics, interactive maps, and other communication material as needed.
  • Overseeing reporting and data quality in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Monitor and ensure the accuracy of data collection.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of monitoring and evaluation tools and frameworks.
  • Perform any other needed duties as directed by the program manager.
