Responsibilities:

1        Prepare weekly/Monthly/Quarterly work plans.

2        Identify and arrange introductory meetings with the contact persons.

3        Hold introductory meetings with the communities.

4        Introduce the program concept and develop a long-term vision of the program in the organized communities.

5        Prepare a profile of the village by collecting data on village statistics particularly on status of the village population and division into better off, well off, poor, poorest and destitute.

6        Facilitate communities to form community organizations as per Social Mobilization Policy of HDF.

7        Attend DO/VDO/UADO/UDO/UCDO monthly meetings on regular bases.

8        Ensure the rules & regulation of the VDOs/UADOs/UCDO are in place.

9        Attend coordination meetings with line agencies.

10    Coordinate with the other organizations working in the program area.

11    Arrange and deliver trainings for the DO/VDO/UADO/UCDO/sub-committees.

12    Conduct Need assessment of the communities/Situational Analysis.

13    Preparation of Need assessment/Situational analysis reports.

14     Preparation of the Village Development plan with the organized communities.

15     Link up the communities with the line agencies and banks for having access to their resources.

16    Provide on job training to the J/social organizers.

17    Inculcate Millennium Development/HDF goals in the communities

18    Ensure achievement of Social Mobilization related goal of HDF within due time

19    Assist. Community Organizations for the achievement of development goals  

20    Coordination with NGOs, Banks and line agencies for developing sustainable linkages among the communities and these agencies.  

21    Prepare daily/weekly/ monthly, quarterly, six monthly and annual reports about social mobilization activities for submission to NO

22    Record keeping of VDOs/DOs/Committees at regional level

23    To act as a Resource person for community Trainings.

24    Facilitate registration process of Community Based Organizations (DO/VDO/CCB)

25    Facilitate the community organizations and Regional Health team in achieving HDF health Goals

1. Will arrange Health Committee meetings for HDF Regional Health Team
2. Facilitate Vaccination of WRAs and Children in his program area and ensure 100% Vaccination rate
3. Facilitate Health Committees in maintaining health related data at VDO level with collaboration of Regional Health Team.

26    Facilitate the community organizations and Regional Education team in achieving HDF Education Goals.

1. Will arrange meetings of Education Committees with Regional Education Team
2. Prepare Children Enrollment plan in Primary and Secondary Schools with Collaboration of Regional Education Team
3. Will play his/her role to minimize drop out in his program area

27    Facilitate VDO and Economic Development Regional team in achieving HDF Economic Development Goals.

1. Will Identify Beneficiaries of Vocational Training
2. Will identify Beneficiaries for Economic Development Program of HDF

28    Social Appraisal of Borrowers and joint Venture cases

29    Ensure program integration at field level

30     Coordinate activities with other HDF sectors

31    Monitoring of all HDF sector’s activities at field level

32    Any other task assigned by the supervisor

 

Qualification: B.A with minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
