Relevant Qualification & Experience:
- At least 2-5 years of relevant working experience in managing humanitarian projects in INGOs/NGOs
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in social studies, Sociology, Anthropology, and/or any other relevant fields
- Good report writing and analytical skills
- Demonstrated data management and analysis experience.
- Willing to travel in the field and ready to work with diversified communities including children, youth, women while maintaining high organizational values and principles
Job Description:
Scope and Objectives:
The position holder will be directly engaged to execute the field interventions. The candidates are required to have a previous experience regarding pre and post-observation of the election process in KP Province. The position holder will be responsible to supervise and execute the pre and post-election observation along with the capacity building of field observers.
Reporting Lines:
The position reports to the Senior Program officer for all administrative, managerial, and planning matters.
Roles and Responsibilities.
- Work closely with Senior Program Officer to coordinate and facilitate the smooth implementation of the project activates
- Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly work plans, and conduct all the planned meetings and other events accordingly.
- Maintain coordination and support the program team in building and maintaining coordination with relevant public sector departments and partners for the smooth execution of interventions in the target districts
- Coordination and liaise with District Election Commission Offices in both target Districts.
- Work closely with the partner NGO, TMOs, and community groups in each Tehsil to ensure their timely planning, implementation, recording, and reporting of project activities.
- Establish a referral network in consultation and collaboration with key stakeholders
- Document meeting minutes and event reports for both internal and external forums
- Documentation of incidents of electoral violence and hate speech reported in newspapers and subsequent reporting on MIS
- Coordination of local parliamentarians, conducting interviews and meetings in both Districts
- Monitoring and reporting of barriers to the electoral and political process, reducing the access and participation of women, ethnic and religious minorities, persons with disabilities, transgender and other marginalized and excluded segments of the society
- Conduct capacity building of political workers in different thematic and technical areas.
- Identification and profiling of Election Day Observers from both districts
- Arrange the seminars, dialogues, and other events as per the plan
- Identification and profiling of political workers for training in both districts.
- Maintain a record of field teams and their activities
- Track progress pace to ensure timely implementation of activities
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor
