Objective of the Consultancy:

Based on the requests from government stakeholders, the project aims to enhance the capacity of its in house MIS team through hiring a professional Mobile App developer. The consultant will work under direct supervision of the Director MIS.  

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

The consultant in coordination with MIS team and stakeholders will be responsible for the followings:

1. To design, develop, enhance and maintain mobile apps in line with stakeholder’s requirement
2. To enhance and remove bugs from already implemented mobile apps in public sector
3. To gather requirements from the stakeholders, develop technical documentation
4. To deploy mobile apps at mobile stores
5. Transfer of Technology to GHSC-PSM MIS and Stakeholders’ IT teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the required knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed to perform the principal duties:

• Expertise in React and React Native
• BS degree in Information Technology / Computer Sciences or related discipline required

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in relevant field
• Experience with health/development sector will be preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
• Fluency in English required

Period of Performance and LOE

The expected duration of the assignment is six (06) months with a total LOE (Level of Effort) of 120 days distributed as maximum 20 working days per month
