Relevant Qualification & Experience:
Master degree in social sciences with at least 03 years of experience in social mobilization preferably in education development projects.
Skills & Expertise:
- Relevant professional experience in education project social mobilization and trainings
- Plan social mobilization activities in the context of the project log frame and targets set aligned with project work plan.
- Provide input in the development of terms of partnership to be signed with the communities for participation in the project activities,
- Initiate social mobilization process and facilitate the project communities to organize themselves in shape of community organizations (male and female).
- Identify and establish of community groups, and members of Parent Teachers Association (PTAs) in targeted area.
- Facilitate school enrolment campaign with support of different activities, to ensure the targeted number of enrolments within project duration.

Job Description:
- Plan social mobilization activities in the context of the project log frame and targets set aligned with project work plan.
- Initiate social mobilization process and facilitate the project communities to organize themselves in shape of school’s councils (SCs) (male and female).
- Provide input in the development of terms of partnership to be signed with the schools’ councils’ communities for participation in the project activities,
- Identify and establish of community groups, and members of Parent Teachers Association (PTAs) in targeted area.
- Facilitate school enrollment campaign with support of different activities, to ensure the targeted number of enrollments within project duration.
- Facilitate schools’ development plans (SDP) by participatory planning and implementation process for identification of school’s infrastructure needs and provision of missing facilities.
- Initiate and support teacher training capacity building activities in schools as per planned in project.
- Support SCs to build their capacities in school management, school development plan, monitoring, conflict resolution, and promoting social harmony in the community.
- Provide support in establishment of None formal education centers and community teachers identification
- Provide input for preparation of monthly and quarterly progress reports on the field activities highlighting achievements and bottlenecks.
- Collect and provide support in collection of information for base-lines surveys and evaluation or any other required study.
- Document success/case stories for the project.
- Document the overall social mobilization process, identify issues, and suggest improvements in the process.
- Document working with schools, its effectiveness, and identify issues and suggest measures for improvements.
