Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for the recruitment purely on contract basis, for a period of two years (extendible on satisfactory performance and need basis) against temporary posts in PSDP Project titled, “Development of ICT and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Precision Agriculture systems utilizing dual-use Aerospace Technologies-GreenAI”. The place of posting will be at PMAS-Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi throughout the duration of the contract.

Qualification:

A qualified person should have Bachelor's degree (16 years) /MCS / MIT in computer science or related degree. Must be a full-stack developer. Knowledge of IoT and server-side configurations are a must. The desire to work in fast-paced environment and experience working on a variety of software development projects.

Demonstrated experience of more than one year in programming languages such as PHP, ASP.net and Python is required.

Database design and management is an essential duty for this job.

This position is two years term with possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance or need basis.

Duties

The candidate is required to develop software, web and mobile applications using modern frameworks to automize the processing of agricultural big data. The selected candidate will develop software for high volume geospatial data, satellite and UAV based platform. The selected candidate must develop interoperability among different software platforms such as Internet of Things, Web and Mobile.

The individual must be highly motivated with sound judgment, high integrity, and strong organizational skills, and has ability to deal effectively with students, colleagues, and the public.
