Save the Children requires Proposal Development Expert for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)- funded Khilo Aur Barho: Action for Learning (GOAL) Programme in Pakistan

Background:

The consultant will work closely with the international consultant, Pakistan- and UK-based Save the Children staff to gather intelligences and prepare for an anticipated FCDO Pakistan opportunity related to enhancing inclusive, sustained access to quality education for marginalized children.

Scope of Work:

Specifically, the consultant will spend a maximum of 15 days level of effort (LOE) to complete the following:

a)  Using the competitor analysis of the Capture Toolkit, support SC Pakistan staff to identify and hold meetings with potential consortium partners, including local partners to determine strengths and weaknesses (Estimated LOE 3 days).

b)  Lead a design workshop with Save the Children Pakistan CO staff to achieve the following objectives (Estimated LOE 4 days).

c)  Finalization and Proposal Writing  (Estimated LOE 8 days).

Experience:

• Masters or higher degree in international relations, Education, Development, Social Sciences, or other relevant field
• Proven experience leading successful proposals for development and/or foreign policy donors in the UK Government
• Proven experience leading successful proposals, preferably to the FCDO
• Clear track record of designing and/or implementing large scale education programs
• Strong experience ensuring alignment with donor rules, regulations, and templates
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines while coordinating proposal processes
• Excellent written communication skills, ability to write clear, structured, articulate, and persuasive proposals
• Native-speaker level fluency in English
