Role Outline:

The Curriculum Development Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with the program/project team to prepare and refine curriculums and TLMs. This individual will bring a wealth of expertise in the field of curriculum development and other training materials, ensuring that the materials meet industry standards and effectively prepares students for successful careers.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the Program/project team to understand their skill training requirements and standards.
  2. Conduct a thorough analysis of existing course materials and identify areas for improvement, enhancement, or integration of new content.
  3. Research industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up-to-date.
  4. Develop and design course materials, including lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and learning resources.
  5. Collaborate with subject matter experts and industry professionals to gather input and validate curriculum content.
  6. Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles and preferences.
  7. Review and refine learning objectives to align with desired learning outcomes and industry expectations.
  8. Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies, including experiential learning and technology-enhanced instruction.
  9. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of the curriculum to measure its effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
  10. Monitor and track industry developments, regulatory changes, and accreditation requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
  11. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on curriculum development progress and outcomes.

Job Requirements:

  1. At least a master’s degree in Education, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  2. 4-6 years of experience in instructional design, or curriculum development.
  3. Experience of working on content development & in training and development of adult education
  4. Knowledge of various approaches to education and training, blended learning, and traditional & non-traditional education.
  5. Demonstrable competence and experience required in traditional learning, needs assessment, training design, development, delivery, and evaluation is required
  6. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Proactive and organized approach to multitasking.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  8. Good command on MS office (word, excel, PowerPoint).
