About the role:
Education promoter will play a crucial role in promoting education at the field level. He/She will work closely with schools and communities to ensure that children have access to quality education.
About the Project:
Project Name: A child-focused re-habilitation drive in Khairpur, Sindh
Objective: Child Specific multi-sectoral rehabilitation through Climate Resilient Schools Infrastructure, Enrolment Campaigns, DRR and preparedness, Child Protection, and welfare.
Sub-objective(s):
1. To enhance the responsiveness of 20 communities of District Khairpur and District Sukkur through “Social Mobilization for Resilience” by the end of the project.
2. To improve the School infrastructure and children enrollment of 20 schools of the targeted districts through Rehabilitation and Enrollment Drives by the end of the project.
3. To improve the resilience of the 20 communities through DRR and preparedness by the end of the project.
4. To improve Community Child Protection Measures through child protection groups.
Your impactful goals will include:
- Work with schools to improve the quality of education which involves working with School management committees to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, providing school supplies and educational materials, and ensuring that schools have adequate facilities and infrastructure.
- Enhancing the skills and capacities of School Management Committees
- Closely work with school management committees and communities to develop school improvement plans and monitor progress toward meeting educational goals.
- Engage communities to promote education. He or She will work with parents and community leaders to raise awareness of the importance of education and encourage children to attend school.
- Address barriers to education, such as poverty and discrimination, and advocate for policies that support access to education for all children.
- To monitor and evaluate educational programs and initiatives. Collect data on student performance, attendance rates, and other indicators of educational quality to assess the effectiveness of education programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure that educational programs are inclusive and accessible to all children, regardless of their background or circumstances.
- Plan and initiate enrollment drives.
- Formation of Child Protection Groups and their capacity building.
- Organize birth registration campaigns at the village level.
- Ensures participation of children/young people and stakeholders in the process of project planning and implementation of the proposed activities.
- Provides narrative, qualitative, and quantitative monitoring information/data to support monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to update the Project Manager on project progress
What we are looking for:
Education& Knowledge
- A master’s degree in education, social sciences, educational psychology or a related field is often preferred.
- Knowledge of Education Systems.

- 3 years of relevant experience.
