Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities |

01 |
Participate in project beneficiary characterization and mapping during the assessment and village identification for WASH interventions. |
|
02 |
Assist the WASH team and Carry out Surveys and assessments for program strategy, make designs, and supervise constructions of boreholes, shallow wells, springs development, reservoir, sanitation facilities inside health facilities and the BHU catchment areas. |
|
03 |
Manage and monitor rehabilitation and construction of the appropriate water and sanitation facilities, including the development of architectural / engineering designs and BoQs. |
|
04 |
Develop work plans in coordination with the WASH Engineer and other stakeholders. |
|
05 |
In consultation with the WASH Engineer, manage the budget of the WASH sections of the programs at the field level. |
|
06 |
Manage the planned activities in coordination with the government and local communities. |
|
07 |
Implementation of projects under the Sindh WASH Program Development and Implementation Guidelines. |
|
08 |
Ensure optimal utilization of resources, cost-effectiveness and accountability on site. |
|
09 |
Prepare Monthly / Interim / Final WASH activity reports for the Sindh Management/donor and timely submission of comprehensive and accurate reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) within the set deadlines. |
|
10 |
Ensure quality construction of all water and sanitation assets, ensuring good maintenance and sustainable processes are put in place. |
|
11 |
Mobilize community in-kind contributions and promote community ownership. |
|
12 |
Supervise the implementation of the entire infrastructure and prepare completion certificates and endorse from PHED and village health committees (VHCs)/community |
|
13 |
Ensure punctuality and strict adherence to laid down work ethics. |
|
14 |
WASH training for VHC members and WASH beneficiaries. |
|
15 |
Supervision of technical staff and contractors to ensure compliance with the contractual agreements and design specifications. |
|
16 |
Any other duties assigned by his/her supervisor. |

Education |
||
BS/B-Tech / DAE in Civil Engineering from recognized Institute. |
||
Experience |
||
Minimum of 02 to 03 years working experience in the same field in reputable organization /government/NGO project. |
||
