U.S. Mission Pakistan is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the “Supervisory Administrative Management Specialist” position in U.S. Embassy Islamabad.

Basic Function of the Position – The Supervisory Manager for Administrative Operations & Customer Services works under the general supervision of an American Facility Manager and directly supervises four (4) positions and indirectly supervises seven (7) positions. Participates as a key member of the Facility Management (FAC) senior management team providing guidance and advice on FAC related initiates, services, and goals to American Facility Managers. Provides financial management of Mission-wide Overseas Building Operations (OBO), International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS), program and agency funds that support FAC operations including budget development, implementation, management, and planning. Oversees multiple other programs and services that support FAC operations including time and attendance administration, workflow management, technology management, human resources, procurement, and purchasing. Applies sound supervisory, management and planning principles and techniques. Serves as the principal subject matter expert on the Global Maintenance Management System (GMMS).

Qualification Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading programs in project management, finance management, administrative operations & customer services is required. The incumbent's work experience must demonstrate an ingression of increased responsibility throughout their career, including increased levels of supervision and project management.

EDUCATION: Completion of college or university studies (14 years of education) is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The incumbent must be able to supervise effectively. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to handle a large workload and multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to manage large databases and customer service applications. Must be to utilize database systems and extract and synthesis data and information. Should be to assemble and analyze relevant facts and draw significant conclusions. The incumbent must have strong computer skills, able to use the Microsoft Office Software Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) The incumbent must have a keen aptitude to work independently, have impeccable integrity, strong initiative, good judgment and must maintain confidential. The incumbent must have valid Pakistani Motorcar/Jeep category driving license. Applicants must show proof that they have a minimum of five years of licensed driving experience. Skills and abilities may be tested.
