Z.M.K. & Co. invites applications for the Content Creator/Data Analyst position to support UNICEF in the National Emergency Action Plan for Polio Eradication. This position is purely on a contract basis with fixed salary packages.

Purpose of the job:

This position will report to Communication Specialist to monitor and analyze social media and website metrics, generating insights to inform strategic decisions. This role will work closely with the digital content team, providing regular reports and KPI monitoring. This role encompasses creating diverse content formats such as long-form video, photography, infographics/data visualizations, and short-form videos for platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Stories, as well as graphic design in close coordination with the mandate of the National Emergency Operation Centre for the polio eradication initiative.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES and DUTIES & TASKS 

• In coordination with provincial and federal teams, create and publish various types of digital content, including but not limited to social media posts, blog articles, videos, infographics, and email newsletters to support Pakistan Polio Eradication Initiative.
• Manage and maintain content calendars to ensure timely delivery of content.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of content and adjust strategies as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with digital media technologies and trends and incorporate them into content strategies and tactics.
• Manage and maintain relationships with external vendors such as photographers, videographers, and writers.
• Ensure all content is optimized for search engines and meets accessibility standards
• Utilize platform-specific styles and features to optimize content engagement for NEOC.
• Generate creative content ideas and plans aligned with research findings and communication frameworks for polio eradication.
• Ensure content adheres to the SBCC approach and agreed editorial standards.
• Monitor and analyze social media and website metrics to generate insights into content performance.
• Generate regular analytics reports for social media and website performance, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Regularly attend morning meetings at NEOC to understand key issues and strategies and plan content accordingly.
• Monitor KPIs for social media platforms and websites, identifying areas for improvement and optimization for amplifying the message of polio eradication.
• Utilize data insights to inform strategic content decisions and optimize content strategies.
• Coordinate with local social media teams and influencers to enhance content reach and engagement.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Continuously improve the quality of infographics by seeking feedback and implementing changes.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS and COMPETENCIES

• An Advance level degree (Masters) in Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, Digital Media, or related field
• Proven experience in content creation across digital platforms, including video production, photography, and graphic design
• Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Demonstrated ability to utilize data analytics to inform content strategies and optimize performance.
• Familiarity with social media and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and platform-specific algorithms
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex ideas clearly
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for digital content creation and staying updated on industry trends
• Portfolio showcasing previous content creation work and data analysis projects is highly desirable

 Language Proficiency

• Fluency in English and Urdu is required.
• Knowledge of another local language, including Pashto, is an asset.
