Vacancy Announcement for Project Officer -Islamabad

For its Ready for Inclusive Sustainable Employment and Entrepreneurship Project

Civil Society Human & Institutional Development Programme (CHIP) is a value led organization that has made its mark in the development sector all over Pakistan.  We are looking for enthusiastic/energetic candidate for the above position with following requirements:

Education

Master’s degree in Social Sciences

Experience

Minimum 05 years of experience in the social sector project management.

Remuneration

Max up to Rs 100,000 depending on qualification and relevance of experience

Duty Station

Islamabad with frequent travel to across major cities, reporting to Project Manager

Job Requirements

    Develop monthly training plans in line with project target;

    Identify and coordinate with OPDs, institutes, and resource persons to schedule training sessions;

    Update the database portal on regularly basis;

    Coordination and liaison with employers and stakeholders for job placement of youth with disabilities;

    Conduct regular follow-up of youth with disabilities and reporting;

    Maintain attendance, progress, and performance records of all youth with disabilities;

    Ensure all training activities follow disability inclusion, safeguarding, and protection standards

    Qualitative & quantitative secondary and primary desk research skills

    Excellent writing & communication skills

    Analytical & critical thinking, Management skills

    Excellent command on MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point

    Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

    Able to work independently with little guidance

Major Terms of Reference

    At least 3 to 5 years of experience in training, capacity building, or development sector programs;

    Experience working with youth and/or persons with disabilities;

    Strong communication, coordination, presentation, and facilitation skills;

    Ability to travel to project locations as required;

    Strong understanding of disability inclusion principles;

    Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under deadlines.

    Any other project-related work assigned by the supervisor when and where required.

    Visit program implementation areas of CHIP as and when required.

The procedure will follow several steps, written test and interviews. The dates shall be announced to the shortlisted candidates only.
