Position Summary:
The CPI & NFIs Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful implementation of CPI and NFIs activities under the project. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the planning, designing, and execution stages of physical infrastructure and development work, while maintaining close coordination with various stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage planning, designing, and execution stages of physical infrastructure and development work.
- Perform due diligence on impact and feasibility of new construction sites.
- Oversee project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs.
- Lead and supervise the CPI/NFIs team.
- Survey new construction sites and assess existing structures for upgrades.
- Develop BOQs, designs, and recommend improvements to CAD software drawings and schematics.
- Prepare work schedules and allocate resources.
- Ensure physical infrastructure/civil engineering schemes are completed on time and within budget.
- Inspect completed projects for compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.
- Document processes and present project progress updates to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure construction meets specifications.
- Supervise construction work and provide technical support to engineering staff.
- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
- Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, and material stress factors to determine design specifications.
- Supervise execution as per drawings and schedules.
- Plan and arrange required resources for project execution.
- Maintain access to latest revision of contract documents, drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Any other task assigned by the manager.
Qualification & Experience:
- BSC / BS civil, BS/B Tech civil.
- Mandatory experience of working on cash for work projects and related reporting templates.
- Proven experience on working on cash for work programming and templates for reporting on NFIs and CPIs schemes.
- At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the NGOs sector.
- Skills in Auto CAD, drawing etc.
- Excellent Monitoring/Reporting & Computer skills.
- Willingness to work and travel in hard areas.
