The Project Coordinator will oversee the implementation of the project, ensuring activities are conducted efficiently, align with the project goals, and adhere to donor and organizational requirements. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and management skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at national, provincial, and community levels.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • Master’s degree in Development Studies, Environmental Science, Disaster Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing humanitarian or development projects, preferably in disaster preparedness or WASH sectors.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder initiatives and work in cross-cultural environments.
  • Strong understanding of anticipatory action frameworks and humanitarian principles.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Deliverables

  • Monthly progress reports detailing achievements, challenges, and next steps.
  • Final project report with a summary of outcomes, financials, and lessons learned.
  • Evidence of effective stakeholder coordination, including meeting minutes and agreements.
