The Parliamentarians Commission for Human Rights (PCHR) is a cross-party caucus of Pakistani parliamentarians from mainstream political parties in Pakistan. Its aim is to advocate for human rights and work for the strengthening of the link between democracy, human rights and the rule of law.

PCHR is hiring for the following position

Project Coordinator

ROLE OF PC: The Project Coordinator working under direct supervision of Project Director will play a pivotal role in the execution and management of the project, this involves detailed planning, coordination of activities, maintain strong communication and coordination with all stakeholders and partners, and ensuring effective implementation of project strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

  • Developing detailed project implementation plans, activity charts including timelines and milestones.
  • Schedule and coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion and alignment with the overall project strategy.

Implementation Coordination:

  • Maintaing close liason and coordination with all stakeholders/partners and ensure timely submission of various reports to the concerned quarters.
  • Ensure the smooth execution of project activities, ensuring they are carried out according to plan.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of training modules for police and legal professionals.

Team Communication and Collaboration:

  • Act as the main point of contact for communication within the project team.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration among team members to achieve project goals.
  • Manage logistics for training sessions, workshops, meetings, and other project events.
  • Ensure all necessary materials and resources are available for successful execution of events.

Monitoring Project Progress:

  • Regularly monitor and track the progress of project activities.
  • Report any issues, delays, or deviations from the project plan to the Project Director.

Data Management and Documentation:

  • Collect and compile data from various project activities for evaluation and documentation.
  • Maintain comprehensive project files and records.

Reporting and Support:

  • Preparing progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support, including document preparation and meeting coordination.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Masters or Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, and Peace & Security or a related field.
  • Experience in project coordination, preferably in human rights or legal projects  with a track record of successful project implementation.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
