The Role:

The Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning team at Teach For Pakistan (TFP) aims to evaluate the impact of the program at the level of the classroom, school, community and our alumni to drive a culture of evidence based decision making across the organization, update our stakeholders and donors on the progress of the program and foster further relationships for the growth of TFP.

We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a high-stakes, target-oriented role, and is able to support fast paced teams. He/she will provide assistance to the Manager, Research Monitoring & Evaluation on day-to day tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

Providing   logistical and administrative support in the  distribution and collection of assessments/surveys where required

Supporting the Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning team in tracking the progress of the implementation of surveys/assessments in the classrooms by compiling and maintaining data lists

Supporting the Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning team in carrying out data quality checks for the classroom data

Providing support in data management (cleaning and analysis) of different data sets required to diagnose student outcomes

Providing assistance in the collection of any other data or information required to drive project outcomes

The Ideal Candidate will be a driven and strategic movement-builder, with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in the areas of Social Sciences, Public Policy, Education or equivalent with a strong statistical analysis background
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A professional attitude with a keenness to learn new things
  • Familiarity with handling data sets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in English
