RESOURCE PERSON SUPERVISION FOR REFRESHER TRAININGS (Digital Marketing of Community-Based Enterprises)

Our team of more than 7,000 staff and local volunteers work in 15 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, providing Health and Nutrition, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Education, and Livelihoods programming that is safe, truly local, conflict sensitive, climate-smart, evidence-based, and reaches those in need.

Organization is a 60-year-old international NGO alliance product of mergers and alliances between four organizations. Today, Organization comprises, Inc., France, UK, and Europe, all led by a single senior leadership team.

Organization is looking to hire the services of an individual consultant(s)/ Master Trainer /reputable firm with experience in digital skill content development and to conduct staff three days ToT on Digital Skills in Peshawar KPK.

Background

Organization, in partnership with GIZ-SSARC, is implementing a project named MHPSS- Digi Live Support Program in four districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, with the Program Goal of “To strengthen social cohesion and foster enhanced resilience, self-reliance, and psychosocial well-being among Afghan refugees and host communities in Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, and Mardan districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. Promoting social cohesion aims to facilitate a dignified life for all individuals”.

Organization seeks the services of a qualified and experienced IT Consultant/Resource Person to supervise 18 two-day refresher trainings (180 Afghan and host male and female) conducted by project staff at the community level in 4 district including, Peshawar, Charsadda, Mardan and Nowshera. 

The IT Consultant/Resource Person will provide technical input, guidance, and quality assurance to ensure effective delivery of training modules and engagement with the community. The proposed individual will review and add in case of improvement to the developed content/module for the digital marketing of community based enterprises.

 

Core Objectives

  • To supervise and monitor 180 beneficiaries (approximately 18 trainings), two-day refresher trainings conducted by project staff.
  • To provide technical input during refresher sessions, ensuring the quality and relevance of the training content.
  • To ensure that the refresher training covers the digital marketing and enterprise skills previously introduced (Gmail, YouTube, Facebook, Tiktok, Easy Paisa, focusing on practical application.
  • To gather feedback from participants and provide guidance to project staff for improvement.

Expected Result

By the end of the assignment:

  • Refresher trainings participated by 180 beneficiaries (approximately 18 trainings), will have been successfully visited, monitored, and assessed.
  • Project staff will receive feedback and support, enabling them to improve their training delivery.
  • The IT Consultant/Resource Person will document recommendations and insights to enhance future training interventions.

Methodology

The IT Consultant/Resource Person will create an interactive and participatory environment where community participants are encouraged to share experiences and examples. The sessions will be monitored to ensure that group discussions, assignments, and case studies link to practical, real-life applications relevant to the field. The Resource Person will facilitate the sessions, providing opportunities for participants to practice and discuss taught content

 

Key Tasks

The IT Consultant/Resource Person will be responsible for the following tasks after signing of the contract

  • Review training materials and modules for digital training prior to the refresher sessions.
  • Supervise training of 180 beneficiaries (approximately 18 trainings), two-day refresher trainings conducted by project staff at the community level.
  • Provide technical input during sessions and ensure that the training aligns with project objectives.
  • Submit a final report summarizing observations, feedback, and recommendations for future training sessions.

Note: The organization will arrange a training venue, refreshments, stationery for the participants, and other expenses. Resource person/Master trainer will be responsible for boarding, lodging, and travel to training venues in Peshawar KPK.

Payment Schedule:

The IT Consultant/Resource Person will receive payment as per the following deliverables;

  • 30% at the time of signing of contract
  • 50% after supervising 60%, sessions.
  • 20% on supervision of remaining 40% sessions and submission of final report with recommendation.

Eligibility Criteria for Master Trainer/individual/consultants/firms

Required Qualification in:

  • Masters’ (Business Administration/Marketing/Digital Communications) from a HEC-recognized University.

Required Experience

  • Five years’ experience in the Enterprise/ Entrepreneurship/ Skills Development Industry.
  • Three years’ in Capacity building training and evaluations.
  • Experience working for skills development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
  • Experience in Module Development for trainers and communities.
