Anesthesiologist ( Part Time/ Full Time)
Normeca International AS invites “Anesthesiologist” to work in connection with the launch of our project in Pakistan “Mobile Multi Diagnostic Clinic / Mini Hospital” under the management of the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) and in cooperation with the Government in Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The clinics will cover general diagnostic and minor surgical procedures, and they are all located in large mobile trailers. The clinics are fully equipped with modern medical equipment and ancillary units such as kitchen, laundry, dining room, conference rooms, etc. The Clinics are operating in KPK and Sindh Regions.
Normeca International AS is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Anaesthesiologist to join our team on an on-call basis. This role is vital in our mission to provide high-quality medical care to the rural areas of Pakistan. The successful candidate will provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical and diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Assess patients’ medical histories and determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after anesthesia.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthetic levels as necessary.
- Manage and address any complications that may arise during anesthesia.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of anesthesia administration and patient responses.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for anesthesia safety and patient care.
- Stay updated with advancements in anesthesia techniques and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid certification and license to practice as an Anaesthetist.
- Proven experience as an Anaesthetist.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Willingness to work on an on-call basis and respond promptly when needed.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Proficiency in English is an advantage.
