Job Title:                    Project Officer – Health Project

Job Location:            Any RHCs or THQ of District Multan

Report To:                  Program Officer – Health Project

Responsible For:        Project Planning/ Implementation, team management and

    Coordination at the district level

Contract Duration:     02 years (Contract will be extended on an annual basis)

Job purpose

The Project Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating and monitoring project activities in district Multan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that project activities are well planned and executed in district Multan.
  • Coordinate with field team on a daily/weekly basis to ensure smooth implementation of the work plan.
  • Working closely with program officer to ensure that required support to the field team is available & ensure that field-related requirements are timely communicated to the program officer.  
  • Provide on-time and effective support to the field teams to achieve key deliverables in the stipulated time frame.
  • Ensure that work plan, progress reports and required data are submitted on time.
  •  Ensure that field teams regularly submit their, monthly data and case studies as per the defined timelines. 
  • Regularly review and analyze the project data and reports, provide feedback to the team and ensure that final reports are timely submitted to the organization management and donor in the prescribed format.
  • Conduct progress/performance review and planning meetings with the team, provide feedback, and ensure that action plans are implemented within given deadlines. 
  • Organize and facilitate donor’s events.
  • Ensure that all the project-related documents received from the field are properly reviewed and verified. Identify the gaps in documentation and ensure that all information provided is accurate and means of verification are available.
  • Conduct field monitoring visits and share the reports with recommendations to improve the project’s deliverables.
  • Any other project-related work assigned by the supervisor when and where required.

 Job holder entry requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Sciences
  • Understanding of Safeguarding and disability inclusion.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management
  • Good report-writing and presentation skills.
  • Able to take innovative initiatives
  • Proficient in both verbal and written English
  • Able to proficiently use MS Word and MS Excel
  • Able to travel to project locations.
