Position:              HR Associate  

Unit:                      Operations
Reports To:         Senior Operations Manager

Primary function/purpose

The HR Associate will provide support to the Operations department in various areas, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, HR administration, and HR policy implementation.
HR Associate will assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.

Major duties and responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Operations Manager in the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers
  • Manage health insurance-related additions, deletions, and changes in the staff and their dependents.
  • Maintains accurate insurance claims records, follows data protection protocols, and ensures that all necessary documentation is properly filed and stored.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide general HR support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR-related reports, including headcount, turnover, and other HR metrics.
  • Assist in HR policy development and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Senior Operations Manager.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
