Procurement of Hybrid Canola Seed (2 kg pack) with Transportation, Loading, Unloading, and Delivery in District Mardan of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa under USAID- ERDA.

Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF) is a not-for-profit organization registered under Section 42 of repealed Companies Ordinance 1984 (Now Companies Act 2017). The company operates with the overall mission of economic development & poverty alleviation through development of agribusiness sector of Pakistan.

Associates in development (AiD) Pvt. Ltd. as prime recipient and Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF) as sub recipient, are implementing USAID-funded project titled ‘Economic Recovery and Development Activity (ERDA) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its Merged Districts (MDs). The project is designed to expand environmentally sustainable, socially equitable and climate resilient economic opportunities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its Merged Districts (MDs) by strengthening and modernizing the agriculture sector and promoting on-, off- and non- farm micro- small- and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Sunflower and Canola have emerged as key oilseed crops with high oil contents and yields, having the potential to narrow down the gap between production and consumption of edible oil. The intervention is to provide input support to farmers to cultivate hybrid improved variety Canola Seed (Hyola 401) on 200 acres of land. The support package includes 02 Kg hybrid canola seed per acre for 200 acres to selected oilseed growers in district Mardan.
