Nutrition International (NI) is embarking on a new three-year project in partnership with the Nutrition Wing (NW), Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination (NHSR&C), Government of Pakistan (GoP), funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to operationalize their plans for the transitioning and scaling of antenatal Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (MMS) at national level.

Submission Requirements:


Qualified* consultants/agencies are invited to submit a budgeted proposal that includes the following:
- A brief description of consultant’s/agencies recent health systems/public health experience on comparable assignments.
- Any comments or suggestions on the terms of reference.
- A proposed concept note with description of services responding to the TOR (not more than 4 pages), and draft work-plan for performing the assignment,
- Budget (the budget should include the cost of the assessments and the cost of the meeting logistics in PKR and USD) (see appendix A for budget template). All payments will be made in PKR.
- The consultant/firm may propose a schedule for deliverables and payments.
- Recent CV of consultant(s), including management structure in matrix format.

* The selected agency must have:
- Extensive demonstrated health systems/public health experience (at least five years) conducting similar assessments using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Gender analysis skills and experience on gender responsive approaches.
- Experience working in consultation with government line ministries, public health workers, and community influencers in Pakistan.
- Experience in managing research teams.
- Very good organizational and planning skills.
- Very good communication skills and ability to communicate in both Urdu and English
- Excellent skills in software programs (Microsoft Office, SPSS, Epi Info, ENA SMART, Stata, NVivo, ATLAS etc.).
- Knowledge of local context is an added advantage.
