Preffered Qualification and Experience:
- Preferably postgraduate degree in Agriculture, Agri-Economics, Development Social Sciences or equivalent qualification in a similar field.
- Preferably years experience 10 of in designing, implementation, monitoring and reporting of agriculture related capacity development training programs.
- Should have previous experience in agriculture related training module development.
- Preferably 02 of years experience international experience or with experience international organizations such as ADB, World Bank etc.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility is to plan, organize, and coordinate training and development activities within the agreed timelines. Work closely with PMU, Agriculture Department and farmers to design training programs, schedule training sessions, and ensure the successful delivery of learning initiatives. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage training resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with subject matter experts and trainers to develop comprehensive training materials and curricula that align with the identified needs.
- Ensure that the training content is engaging, up-to-date, and meets the learning objectives.
- Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, taking into account the availability of trainers and participants.
- Arrange training venues and necessary equipment to facilitate smooth training delivery.
- Manage all logistical aspects of training programs, such as participant registrations, materials preparation, and catering arrangements.
- Monitor training budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Assist trainers during training sessions by providing administrative support. coordinating activities, and addressing any logistical issues.
- Collect feedback from participants and trainers to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Analyze training evaluation data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future training enhancements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, including attendance, evaluations, and certifications.
- Generate training reports for management to review the impact of training initiatives.
- Assist in managing the project database including uploading training materials, enrolling participants, and generating training reports.
- Ensure that all mandatory training programs are completed by the relevant target groups within the required timeframes.
- Any other task to be assigned by the Client or ADB in line with the TORs of this assignment and the overall objectives of the project.
