Qualification Requirements
|
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, BBA, MBA, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Business Development, preferably within an engineering consulting firm.
- Demonstrated prior experience with EOI and technical proposal preparation.
- Strong communication skills are essential, with preference given to candidates who have worked in similar roles.
- International qualifications or experience will be an added advantage.

Job description
|
1. Business Opportunity Screening:
- Lead the identification and evaluation of national and international business opportunities.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and areas for expansion.
2. Partnership & Networking:
- Build and nurture partnerships with experts and consulting firms in various sectors.
- Maintain and continuously update a robust database of expert profiles and partner firms.
3. Proposal & EOI Development:
- Take the lead in drafting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and technical proposals for infrastructure projects, including but not limited to WASH, building, transportation, and energy (solarization) sectors.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to develop compelling, high-quality proposals.
- Actively engage with the social and environmental sector teams to prepare multi-sectoral EOIs and proposals.
- Maintain a library of standardized proposal templates to streamline future submissions.
4. Database Management & Reporting:
- Regularly monitor the BD database, suggesting improvements and ensuring data is up-to-date.
- Review, verify, and submit the weekly BD screening report.
- Prepare and submit a comprehensive Quarterly BD report to management.
